All great things reduce to the most subtle forms towards the end. Every mortal man is condemned to the same fate after death. There is no discrimination. So what happens to you after you die is not that substantial. But how you die is all that makes the difference. Here at Distracted Students, we will talk about one such death in particular. It could have happened for a number of reasons but it happened for that one sickening cause known as drug abuse.
Michael Jackson sure made a number of grand entries and exits during his stage shows but his one great exit is about to add up to the drug abuse saga at Distracted Students. MJ or the title of ‘King of Pop’ would better describe him. His album the Thriller took his music career to different heights. His more popular works in music came soon after with albums like Bad,
Dangerous, Off The Wall and HIStory. His unparalleled dexterity in dancing was reflected in videos like Scream and Black or White. Awards came pouring in from all the sides. With more than a 100 awards to his credit including a considerable number of Grammys, his career was exemplary for any pop star. So what went wrong?
His appearances, behaviour, relationships, accusations and Michael Jackson drug abuse hit the news more often than his work. The inventor of the vocal hiccup, the robot and the moonwalk had lost a lot that could have otherwise been his for a lifetime except for the drug abuse. He faced a tumultuous life at the hands of a craving for a change in appearance that took him through a series of skin bleaching, rhinoplasty and nose jobs. The beginning years of 1980s witness a thinning Michael Jackson with a yearning to get that impeccable Dancer Body. The two big charges of child molestation (1993) and child sexual abuse (2003) rocked his world further and led to even worse Michael Jackson Drug Abuse. After his birth on August 29th, 1958 and a disturbing childhood, this star rose to great heights with him being popularly accepted as a great vocalist. His music found home in styles of pop, soul and R&B. It is hard to list down his work because for every song that he sung, he made himself rise higher. More fans, more followers…he was literally being worshipped by the youth.
Way back in the January of 1984, Jackson was shooting a Pepsi Commercial when due to certain malfunction on the sets, his hair caught fire. This was the time when Michael Jackson Drug abuse began with him taking high doses to deal with the agonizing pain in his scalp. There is a mention of him resorting to high amounts of sedatives too around this time. Amidst his sky-rocketing career, Michael Jackson Drug abuse problems began taking their toll when he was accused of child molestation in 1993. He accepted to have been taking high doses of Atavan, Valium and Xanax. By this time he had grown much dependent on the painkillers and upon being discovered with vials of medicines at the London Airport, he was given Valium IV to overcome his dependency on the painkillers.
Following his second charge of child sexual abuse in 2003, he went much into Demerol (pethidine) and morphine. He bodily functions and mind were showing clear signs of a slowdown. This growing dependency on drugs was being continually treated to no avail. With growing Michael Jackson drug abuse, his death soon arrived at his mansion Holmby Hills in Los Angeles on the 25th of June 2009 owing to an overdose of Propofol. In November 2011, his doctor Conrad Murray was held guilty on the charges of involuntary manslaughter.
Amidst a troubled childhood, great career, two marriages and fatherhood and his charges regarding child molestation, Michael Jackson drug abuse took the form of an addiction to prescription drugs. He had been on an overdose of some lethal combinations including Xanax, Dilauded, Zoloft, Soma, Paxil, Demerol and some anti-biotics. Constant addiction to these prescription drugs added on by his eating disorder lead to the downfall of this great music icon.
With so much of talent into him, he could have made it to the pages of history forever. Sure, he is a part of history even now but then it is a tainted one. It is the history of a great career overshadowed by his Michael Jackson drug abuse. He had a fate that we will all have eventually but then his exit was not that grand. So to all our treasured distracted souls, if a man of calibre such great as Michael Jackson can end up with such a pitiable story then we just the distracted ones, stand no chance. So it is a humble request, say no addiction, and say no to teen drug abuse!!!

here. I am sure I is going to visit this particular place all over again soon.
